Card One Banking have teamed up with a leading high street bank to allow you to pay in cash and cheques at any of their branches. All you have to do is take your cash and cheques to your nearest branch and pay in using your pre-printed GIRO slips into the Rapid deposit box. Rest assured your money is held in trust at Natwest Bank, and is protected by the FSCS for your full deposit amount.
Managing your Spending
After all of your bills are taken care of, the remaining balance from your wages can be moved to your Prepaid MasterCard® card. This process can be automated once the account is setup, using your online account management centre to create "rules". These rules tell the system what percentage of your wages should be placed in your bills account or on your Prepaid MasterCard® card as spends. You will be able to manage these rules yourself to match your requirements. We will help you with this when you call to activate the account. The Prepaid MasterCard® card works in a similar way to a Pay As You Go mobile phone top-up card, but has the convenience and functionality of a debit card.
