The Virgin prepaid MasterCard is not a credit card, charge card or debit card, although you use it in exactly the same way to shop online, over the phone or in store. It's a prepaid MasterCard® card that you load funds onto.
Each time you use the card, the amount of your purchase and a
2.95% fee are deducted from your balance. When your funds are
running low you simply load up the card again.

There's a total spending limit of £1,600 a year on the restricted card - up to £600 of this can be withdrawn from cash machines. You can upgrade to an unrestricted Virgin card by sending us proof of your identity. There is a £4.95 admin fee for this which would be taken from your prepay credit card.
